      TAKOYAKI WORKSHOP

MUU now also runs an open takoyaki Japanese cookery workshop!

An optional takoyaki workshop is now part of the MUU cafe experience. Taking place in a small marquee next door to the cafe, MUU is teaching the art of takoyaki making. Workshops will take place throughout the day and night at selected festivals.

Go on – have a go.

      SWEET OR CURRY BALLS?

These balls are originally from Osaka. Hot and squidgy in the middle, chewy and crispy on the surface. Takoyaki is a really popular street food in Japan. If you don’t yet know it yet, you should! Usually made with octopus and red ginger, we have modified the recipe creating a tasty vegetarian alternative.

MUU’s version is pretty special; cheese centered takoyaki ball covered in Japanese

brown curry sauce,  brimming with locally grown veg. We also do a cheeky chocolate/banana/custard version for those sweet tooth moments.

Traditional takoyaki is also on the MUU menu on request for selected events.
